  Canine Ireland Rules
   
  1. The dam must be over one year old before she is mated. Only one litter per year can be registered. She can only have six litters and must not be over eight years of age. The sire has to be over eight months and under twelve years

2. All pups must be microchipped before registration can be issued.

3. The declarations on each application for registration must be signed by the applicant/s and also by the breeder/s.

4. The sire and dam have to be registered with Canine Ireland. (Paperwork from other Kennel Clubs also accepted)

5. No Pups should be sold until they are 8 weeks old or over.

6. The Breeder must inform the purchaser about the pup's vaccinations, worming etc and provide information about the care and feeding of the pup(s).

7.The Breeder must ensure to give all relevent documentation to the new owner(s).

8. Breeders must abide by the Canine Ireland Code of Ethics.
